Signing a cooperation agreement between University of Mazandaran and Zlatoust Publishing Center in Russia

According to the Public Relations Office of University of Mazandaran, the head of Zlatoust Publishing, St. Petersburg, and the head of Kareem University, Russia, met and talked with Dr. Hashemollah Ali Nejad at the University.
During this meeting, organized by the International Scientific Cooperation Center of University of Mazandaran, the head of University of Mazandaran expressed hope to further expand the extensive cultural and scientific relations with the friendly neighboring country.
Dr. Ali Nejad stated that despite being a comprehensive and leading university in the province, University of Mazandaran is ready for any kind of collaboration with Russian universities.
The head of Kareem University also expressed satisfaction with visiting University of Mazandaran and introduced his university, declaring full readiness for close interaction with University of Mazandaran at various levels.
Furthermore, the head of Zlatoust Publishing referred to the successes of University of Mazandaran, mentioning it as the third Iranian university where students, at the master's level, are interested in studying Russian. He enthusiastically welcomed the proposal to sign an agreement with University of Mazandaran and suggested that students be able to simultaneously receive academic degrees from their home university.
He also stated that in recent years, Zlatoust Publishing has had a strong and influential presence at Iranian conferences. Therefore, given the organization of the "Russian Language Days in Iran" conference, they have requested 15 Russian universities to assist Zlatoust Publishing in fulfilling its mission to publish the works of their country.
The head of Zlatoust Publishing also mentioned the role of the Russian Mir Foundation in these interactions.
Dr. Jamal Ghasemi, the Deputy of Research and Technology at the University, discussed the articles of the agreement and proposed to broaden and operationalize some of the topics. It was suggested to provide short-term two-week courses for this spectrum of students, including the exchange of professors and doctoral students.
Dr. Naser Kordani, the Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Center, also expressed hope for the expansion and development of bilateral cooperation, highlighting that Russian is one of the main languages of the University of Mazandaran's websites, and the university's anthem is also subtitled in Russian. This indicates that Russian is alive and stable for Iran and University of Mazandaran, and the goal of these actions is to bring the two countries closer together.
Creating an Iran Room and a Persian Language Training Center in Russian universities, as well as launching Iranian Studies chairs at Kareem University and Russian Studies at University of Mazandaran, were among the important proposals discussed at this meeting.
At the end of this meeting, a scientific cooperation agreement was signed by the heads of the University and Zlatoust Publishing.
It should be noted that the close relationship with Zlatoust Publishing Center in Russia has been approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
