The University of Mazandaran has several laboratories in the fields of chemistry, physics, computers, sports, biology, and engineering. Also, it hosts several research centers in the fields of computer security, ecosystems, law, and so on.

Computer Emergency Response Team (APA Center)

The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) is an expert group that handles computer security issues. "Mazandaran`s CERT" is a branch of Iran`s national CERT (Maher) and has the responsibility of nationwide actions for the prevention and response to security issues.

Caspian Region Research Center (CRSP)

The Caspian Region Research Center tries to sort and plan urban programs for the cities located on the southern coastline of the Caspian Sea.
