According to the Public Relations Office of University of Mazandaran, Goltaj Sadeghi, head of the International Cooperation Development Department and acting head of Chinese language learners at University of Mazandaran, who attended this event, said: During the opening ceremony of the Chinese language event, Professor Yu Yun Feng, Director of Cooperation and Language Education Center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, described the Chinese language as a bridge to bring lovers of this language closer together and to promote peace and friendship, expressing hope that this event will pave the way for mutual understanding and deeper connections among people around the world, especially countries residing on the historic Silk Road.

The head of the International Cooperation Development Department of Mazandaran University stated that Chinese language learners from University of Mazandaran and University of Tehran actively participated in the opening ceremony programs, including carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran and cultural anthem groups. He emphasized that the presence of University of Mazandaran alongside Tehran University demonstrates the extensive interactions and programs of this university with Chinese universities, facilitated through the Confucius Institute.

Sadeghi also mentioned the presence of 2 Chinese professors at University of Mazandaran over the past 5 years and stated that with the presence of these resident Chinese professors at University of Mazandaran, many interested language learners in Mazandaran province have learned Chinese.

He added that one of the institute's programs is to hold an annual gathering of language learners from around the world. Language learners who have successfully passed a level of Chinese language that the institute focuses on participated for free in the annual event.

It is worth noting that at the gathering of Chinese language learners, attended by university students from eight countries around the world, 22 language learners from University of Mazandaran and Dr. Mehriyar, our country's scientific attache at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing, were present. They also attended the event with the University of Mazandaran delegation after the ceremony.
