The presence of the president of Mazandaran University in the 26th meeting of the Union of Caspian State Universities

According to the public relations report of Mazandaran University, on Thursday, October 19, 1403, corresponding to October 10, 2024, the first day of the meeting of the Association of State Universities of the Caspian Sea was held at Astrakhan University, Russia, with the presence of 4 selected universities from Iran.

According to this report, Mazandaran University, Gilan University, Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and Imam Khomeini (RA) Qazvin International University participated in this annual meeting on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This annual gathering is held with the presence of state universities along the Caspian Sea including Iran, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

In the annual meeting of this union, which Dr. Heshmatoleh Alinejad, president of Mazandaran University, is also present, common issues such as: environmental issues of the Caspian Sea, student Olympiads, joint inter-university projects, etc. are discussed. This meeting will end its work on Saturday evening, October 21, 1403.

It is worth mentioning that Mazandaran University has been one of the active Iranian founders in this union since 1376.
